Gwen Stefani Is New Face Of L'Oreal Paris!!

Um, how glamazing is is that one of my favorite singers and style idols Gwen Stefani is the new face of one of my fave beauty brands, L'Oreal?! I'm just like beyond and over Cloud 9 upon reading this news!

Her first campaign will be for Infalliable Le Rouge, a new collection of conditioning long wear lip color followed by Superior Preference hair color. Of course, it's only fitting that L'Oreal focus their branding upon two of Stefani's well-known assets: those red lips and platinum blond hair. LOVE. Stefani is just another platinum gilded rung on the ladder otherwise known as L'Oreal spokespersons. (Beyonce, Eva Longoria, Kerry Washington and Jennifer Lopez are just a few that make up the rest). What do you think of the news, Glamazons?!

Jennifer Lopez Nabs L'Oreal Spokesperson Deal

From designing children's clothing for Kohl's to modeling for Gucci ads to creating some of the top selling fragrances of our generation is there anything that Jennifer Lopez can't do?! (Oh, wait..there is: singing. But we won't talk about that...smh.)
Although the music industry may be one spot she just can't seem to dominate, you have to give it to her: she's definitely business-saavy. I mean, how else would one gain a L'Oreal spokesperson contract?! And not just any contract, mind you: a multimillion- dollar contract.
J. Lo (a name she ditched long ago but I still like to use tee hee hee) is the newest global brand ambassador for L'Oreal Paris, which includes brands such as EverPure hair care, Preference hair color and Youth Code skin care. She joins the ranks of other celeb L'Oreal spokesmodels that include Beyonce, Eva Longoria Parker, Diane Keaton and Keri Washington.
Jennifer's debut TV ad will air Jan. 16, 2011 during the Golden Globes for EverSleek, a new range of hair products in the Ever franchise designed to smooth unruly, frizzy hair.

According to an article in WWD, L'Oreal plans on tackling a new take on advertising by making their ads more "intimate and conversational."
Cyril Chapuy, global brand president for L'Oreal Paris, was quoted in the article as saying that the script for the new ads were written with J. Lo in mind.
"It was designed for Jennifer's personality," Cyril said. "She is the one speaking directly to the camera, there is no voice-over and she speaks in her own words."
He also went on to add that "the look of the styling and set was also defined especially for her..[which] had a very intense energy."
Hmmm...it could be that J.Lo had all these demands and the brand just rolled along with it. Or maybe I'm wrong and they really wanted to make the ads all about her? Either way, I can't wait to see them.
And this won't be the last we see of J.Lo anytime soon! She's been named one of Barbara Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People of 2010" (interview airs at 10 p.m. EST, Dec. 9 on ABC) and has plans to launch a new album in 2011 called "Love."
Hey, you gotta respect this woman's hustle, right?! Who else is excited to see her new ads?
