� For large images use [timg] rather than [img]
� Use attachments when necessary so images don't disappear when they are removed from their source
� When possible, include links to the full-sized original so others can download them. If you don't want to share, state that in your posts so others don't continue to ask for links.
� When quoting a post with images, remove the images to reduce clutter

Yes, we all have doubts. I, for one, think it is a scam. Verizon et al will charge you to get your "own" data once you exceed your "cap". And one well placed terrorist act will erase any data center anywhere. Back up and hold your data. Do not rely on the cloud.
One fire will wipe out your house, your computer, your backup drive and your backup DVDs.
If a a data center is well run, they will be replicating everything offsite, possibly even in more than one location.

Than why else do they want them? FT references their "business model" needing this "relationship". As other have said, I want their content NOT a relationship.
That is NOT a reason to assume they do sell information. Probably marketing reasons.
Apple wants people to give personal information ( address, phone number etc ) to sign up for the various *free* developer programs ( i.e., Safari Developer ).. that isn't an indication that Apple are going to sell your information... However, according to your response.. Apple will sell this information... ( which of course, they will not ).

Yes, because the hardware manufactured decided to use "GB" for Gibibyte instead of gigabyte. But since all memory (hardrives, ram) are in base 2, 2^30 = 1GB is correct.

I have a 3GS with 4.1. I would like to got to 4.2.1. I downloaded the 4.2.1 firmware, when I hit shift-restore 4.2.1 itune gave me an error messaage. Can I use other software to upgrade? Thanks.

Well, to be fair, you express hate toward Apple constantly. And given the conspiracy ideas in your signature, you are plenty upset about lots of things in your life. So I would hardly consider you a typical case. Apple could offer free computers tomorrow and you'd instantly post a message expressing your hatred of Apple for doing that.

So I got my Photoshop on Mac last year and somehow, I think I accidentally pressed something. I used to have a transparent background whenever I use it so I can see the desktop but now it's all gray and boring. How do I turn it back? I have the Translucent option checked btw. Thanks for any help that will come.

I wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.

Hello I have enabled web sharing but when i click the links it says can not be connected. so i have had a look and there is no files in HD>Libary>Webserver>Documents is this the problem and how can i get this working

I wonder how difficult it would be find an individual with the talents needed both on the Software Engineering side & the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) side. Most GIS education these days doesn't really focus on programming. Infact, most GIS "programs" are just crash courses on how to operate ESRI products.
